Ladies' Noon Prayer Group

Led by Kandi Stoebe
Course No. M02 - Meets in the prayer room on Monday’s from Noon to 1:00 PM

Ladies, join me as we pour out our hearts to God in prayer for ourselves, our families, our friends, and our nation. Prayer should not be seen as our means of getting God to do our will on earth, but rather as a means of getting God's will done on earth. God's wisdom far exceeds our own. We pray to demonstrate our faith in God, that He will do as he has promised in His Word and bless our lives abundantly more than we could ask or hope for (Ephesians 3:20).

James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple with Beth Moore's study. James: Mercy Triumphs. Once you get to know both the man and the book of James, you'll never be the same again.

Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. in other ways, james more closely resembles the book of Proverbs than any other new Testament book. James is a book with many topics -- social justice, joy, hardship, faith reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts form above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer -- all of which are covered in this study.
